    A Late Supper

A Late Supper revolves around two sisters, Diane and Debbie who have chosen markedly different life paths. As the play opens, Diane is excitedly preparing dinner in anticipation of the arrival of her sister, much to the dismay of Diane's husband Mark. Tensions flare when Debbie arrives with a surprise date — Mark's high school idol, Greg. When a smoldering unresolved conflict between Mark and Debbie becomes uncontainable, dinner ends up on the floor. They order pizza, but will dinner arrive before this quartet's intricate web of lies and betrayals can fully unravel? The production stars Peter Bradbury (The Herbal Bed / Snakebit / Passion Play / Surviving Grace), Pamela J. Gray (Night Must Fall / House Arrest), Katherine Leask (Stonewall Jackson's House / Pearl Theatre's The Way of the World & The Oresteia / CSC Rep's Amphitryon), and Michael McKenzie (Waiting in the Wings / Roundabout's The Man Who Came to Dinner / Eastern Standard). It features sets by Tamar Gadish, costumes by Martha Gretsch, and lighting by Robert W. Henderson, Jr. Kari Floren's Incidental Lives was recently produced by New Avenue Theatre Project at Synchronicity Space. She has written five screenplays, including the drama For Love of Mama (a finalist in the Nantucket Film Festival and award winner at the New York City Independent Film & Video Festival) and the comedy It's Magic! Last Spring she completed a new full-length play, Voices of Swords.
