    The Scientists

    Read the Offoffoff review

What's it like inside someone else's mind? That's the question asked by "The Scientists." Colophon Heavy Industries, a research lab and manufacturer of the world's strongest material, is experiencing poor sales. The chief scientist, Dr. Dennis Colophon, is too busy attempting to turn Colophon into a money-raising theme park to notice the affections of brilliant polymer physicist Dr. Wendy Rantakillio. When her sexy new dress (which possesses artificial intelligence) fails to entice him, Dr. Rantakillio joins forces with her unpredictable assistant Sheridan Fenwick and her robot butler, Robotronix as they travel INSIDE the mind of Dr. Colophon to reprogram his emotions — for love! Once inside, Dennis and Wendy find love, but not through the methods she originally intended. This inspired surrealistic radio comedy play, in the spirit of The Firesign Theatre, will be recorded live for rebroadcast on the radio. If you like your light-hearted romantic comedy with lots of mind-bending surrealism and scientific references, this is the show for you!
