    Welcome to New Jersey

    Read the Offoffoff review

This evening of one-acts, Welcome To New Jersey, draws from two of the most vital and acclaimed works in the Bon Bock repertoire. Gritty and toughminded, Welcome to New Jersey has at its heart a working class sensibility — but it's characters are not just simple laborers; they are dark, desperate souls stained by an unexpected strangeness and encased in a husk of legend and myth. 16E — -Mythologizes the woes of four unfulfilled Jersey Pike toll-takers and the tedium of shift work. — -Written & Designed by Alex Dawson; Directed by Jane Hardy. Featuring Brendan Connor, Dave Dwyer, Rich Odell and Joseph Pacillo. Pumping For Jill — -Two New Jersey gas station attendants wait for the return of an entity that may or may not exist. — -Written & Designed by Alex Dawson; Directed by Jane Hardy. Featuring Jeff Maschi and Rob Perry.
