CRUX is the latest BrokenArmProductions' play written by award winning, published playwright, Joseph Langham. It is the author's response to the current world political climate, recent tragic events and our seemingly constant state of war. CRUX is a stark comedy about a poor woman and two men selling roses in an abandoned park while the final war of mankind rages in the city around them. The past, the present and the future collide in the symphonic cacophony of war, breaking down barriers of primal need, to reveal the main and intangible point of this life we lead. CRUX is Langham's fifth play. Other Langham creations include FringeNYC Excellence Award winning solo show, Har Har, an Evening with Harburg Harrisbrandt, the recently published madcap one-act, Out to Lunch (Plays and Playwrights, 2003) and the downtown hit Comedy/Rock show, Gilligan Stump! and Tha Perfesser CRUX, marks the fourth collaboration with co-producers Horse Trade Theater Group. We are also proud to announce that CRUX is to launch Horse Trade's 7th season.
