    All Stories Are Fiction

Performer/writer/monologist Mike Daisey will present ALL STORIES ARE FICTION, a series of brand new shows each and every week. Stories in ALL STORIES ARE FICTION range from the warped genius of scientist Nikolai Tesla, to the strange and wonderful powers of Chinese hamster ovaries, to growing up in rural Maine under the shadow of the apocalypse. Always off the cuff, Daisey weaves damning fact with hilarious fiction to create unmistakably true stories. . He embellishes with larger arcs gleaned from the annals of history, science, and Page Six, and in so doing, creates stories that are larger — and truer — than life. Best known for his Off-Broadway one-man show 21 Dog Years: Doing Time @ Amazon.com and for his frequent appearances in storytelling venues around town (Little Grey Book Series, MOTH, Happy Ending, Phat Tuesdays),Mike Daisey excels in telling unscripted stories plucked from his real-life adventures. His monologues, including 21 Dog Years, The Ugly American, Wasting Your Breath and I Miss The Cold War have been internationally. He is currently creating a dark office comedy for HBO and writing his second book.
