City of Islands: How Two Boys Used Half a Radio, Some Cereal and a Sandwich to Possibly Save the World

The fun, strange tale of a scared little boy and an unwashed hero, and the things they have to do to get their parents back. With a mix of fantasy and comedy, writer/performer Micaela Blei creates a universe where bikers eat cereal, history books are sold on the black market and real estate developers are the villains. This show is for children ages 6 and up and for adults who miss being children. Ms. Blei taught elementary school for 3 years, where her stories gained cult status and were demanded daily by students. She has performed CITY OF ISLANDS at the People's Improv Theater and in the classrooms of New York City. She was the founder of musical improv sensation "J.M. Rockenstern." Her ukulele will be appearing in a future incarnation of this show.
