    Anticipating Heat

When acclaimed young writer Heat Christiansen returns home to Denmark to write his second novel, his relationships with three women from his childhood — sisters Margrethe and Birgitte, and their cousin Lone — surge into the present, threaten the strength of the womens' bonds to one another, and place his own career in jeopardy. A contemporary Danish serio-comedy in the tradition of Chekhov, ANTICIPATING HEAT utilizes the motif of the still photograph to explore the constructs of family, love, and truth. A new play by Charlotte Winters (The Mona Lisa, Approximately; Yoga Kills).
