    The Adjustment

An ambitious political lobbyist finally takes some time for herself, turning to an orthodox Jewish chiropractor for an adjustment. Neither expects to have much of an impact on the other's life, but both are in for a surprise in "The Adjustment,'' a provocative comic-drama written by Middletown native Mike Folie. A playwright in residence at Monmouth County's only year-round professional theater company, Folie is a perennial favorite with NJ Rep audiences, who have laughed uproariously at his "An Unhappy Woman,'' "Naked By the River,'' and "Panama'' and been riveted to their seats by his drama "Slave Shack.'' "The Adjustment'' stars Liz Zazzi of Glen Ridge, who was last seen at NJ Rep in "Naked By the River,'' Daniel Utset of Somerset and Philip Lynch of New York City. Lynch appeared in NJ Rep's mainstage production of "Ends.''
