A new Irish play about the struggle of two souls waiting to be reincarnated. Their names are simply, "!" and "?". "!" has lived seven times over and wears his pessimistic view like a crown; he would rather remain in his "box" then go through life again. "?" has not yet tasted of life and is full of hope of what he might accomplish and worth he can give to the world. Which voice will triumph: the longing to express the new ideals of modern life or the struggle to maintain the rhythms and traditions of old? This existential dilemma is at the core of the Irish struggle and common to all cultures. Ab-Intra reflects the convergence of time, where new ideals are brought into conflict with the traditional, and the echoes of the soul reach for illumination!
