    The Gift

    Read the Offoffoff review

Based on a true story, The Gift is a haunting music theatre piece that travels back and forth between 1939 and 1965. An ensemble, stylized voice-and-movement piece, The Gift utilizes floor-to-ceiling archival footage and live original music to tell the story a young American whose courage and cowardice are revealed as he attempts to rescue a single Jewish family out of Nazi Germany. The Gift premiered in England at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre in 1995 and has since, been successfully performed in London, Germany, France and is now premiering in the US.
