    The Gifted Program

    Read the Offoffoff review

The teenage angst play that John Hughes always wished he wrote. In 1986, the remaining members of the Dungeon & Dragon's Club are the "in crowd" at a special school for gifted and talented students. When their school is dismantled these social retards are thrust into the harsh realities of an inner-city public high school and are instantly positioned at the bottom of the social food chain. When the identity of a secret admirer is revealed, the school's rigid hierarchy is upended; for Washington High's four most unpopular students, the simple pursuit of an education becomes a fight for survival.
