After a 25-year hiatus, one of the seminal
fusion bands of the 1970s, Larry Coryell's Eleventh House, triumphantly returns to New York. Featuring founding members Larry Coryell and
drummer Alphonse Mouzon along with the new blood of Julian Coryell (guitar),
Richard Bona (bass) and Shunzo Ono (trumpet), Eleventh House is proving to be one
of the few '70s fusion outfits still making a fresh and powerful
musical statement in the '90s.

eclectic mix of standards, new material and '70s classics like "Spaces" and "Morning of the Carnival," Eleventh House's return is like a
nostalgic trip back to the heyday of fusion with a '90s sensibility.
Both Coryell and Mouzon spent much of the late '80s and early '90s
pursuing musical flirtations with "smooth jazz" resulting in such albums
as Mouzon's "The Survivor" and Coryell's "I'll Be Over You," but don't
expect to hear anything that CD101.9 might embrace with this outfit.
Instead, buckle down for jaw-dropping musicianship on this over-the-top
musical roller-coaster ride led by the man hailed as the godfather of
