that last argument made no sense. "the fact that they're both driving separate cars makes sense if you think about the fact that they're the same person" - That is an inherent contradiction: The same person CANT DRIVE 2 DIFFERENT CARS AT THE SAME TIME! The same person cant RUN HERSELF OFF THE ROAD WITH ANOTHER CAR! Movies like 6th Sense or Fight Club work because you can watch the movie for a second time and see that the characters are one in the same. Doesnt work with this one.

Re: Big Plot Hole
The twist doesn't revolve around the killer, it revolves around Marie. The killer is another side of Marie that only exists to her, similar to the plot of Fight Club. The part in the beginning scene with the guy in the truck is simply symbolism for introducing the character that reflects Marie's inadvertent sadomasochistic personality. Notice how "he" "arrives" at the house when she's in bed with herself? As for the car chase, it's just something you have to kind of work with. Marie:Car::"The killer":Truck. I mean, yeah, just because you have an alter ego, doesn't mean that alter ego can drive a car, but Marie and "the killer" aren't ever significantly far away from eachother, so the fact that they're both driving separate cars makes sense if you think about the fact that they're the same person.
