Bill was driving a DeTomaso Mangusta:

It was built in the early 70s and due to its rear engine nearly all the weight of the car was in the back. It had terrible riding qualities, therefore it was no commercial success.

so the greyish blue car that Bill(james carradine) drives is a De Tomaso Mangusta, and the bright blue convertible Uma drives is a Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. So there's two blue cars (not mentioning the pussy wagon). Everybody still confused or we figured this out?
