    Dear Lita,
There are lots of books on Mapplethorpe!
Do you know the website That's a great place to search for new, old, out of print etc. books in every price range. Or, do a search on Also, try Googling "Robert Mapplethorpe" because his estate is a foundation now. Finally, I suggest visiting the Guggenheim's website and searching for Mapplethorpe there. They made a catalogue for the Classical Tradition show. Hope this gets you started! - Deborah Garwood
