A MUST-SEE movie! Re-enacted in a way that makes it SO REAL as far as movies can go. What an incredible story. I do not believe in "divine intervention", and what happened to Joe was, at first, a case of pure luck that he didn't just hit bottom of that deep crevasse and die. From there on it was his will and drive to go as far as he physically could that makes this story so amazing. I know it was hell for him, with a broken leg and all, and he surely overcame incredible obstacles. He persevered, but he was also very lucky that Simon was still there on that last night. This doesn't happen to everyone. Many have died over simple mistakes. Where was divine intervention for those people? Thus, this is truly a story of luck and enduring physical extremes working together and saving a man's life.
