It impress me a lot that no one of you realize that most of the Hollywood films are also propagandistic of the "american way of life" and now also intended for the global mass of viewers. I agree that "Hero" is in the bottom a propagandistic film, but I also agree that is a marvelous assault on my senses as a viewer and that we should judge the film as a piece of art, because if we judge it politically we could end ourselves like censors of true art and that's when extremes coincide, like the far right in America and the communists in China in this case.
