Reader comments on The Brown Bunny

I think Mat is absolutely right.I just ordered the movie,And thought yes it did slowly drag, but you needed to slowly watch his pain & sadness,& understand all that before you got to the end.I thought it was brilliant & yes I did understand what Gallo was trying to come across with in this film.

    Response to this comment:
    WRONG AGAIN, JOSHUA

I have been tempted to write this before, but I had better things to do. Now, I simply can`t resist. You should stop writing reviews, Joshua. Realy. I mean, what part of The Brown Bunny didn`t you understand? You are not dumb, so - you must be a liar.

To resume my point of view:

    1. The Brown Bunny is one of the best American movies in a past few years.
    2. The Brown Bunny is the best and most profound film about THE GRIEF and about the searching for lost love I`ve ever seen. You should consider yourself lucky for not understand it. Those who experienced such grief probably understood it perfectly.
    3. The Brown Bunny is absolutely clear to anyone who is able to think clearly and whose mind isn`t flattened by television and empty Hollywood naration movies.
    4. Quote: "Those empty 70 minutes needed to be filled with something smart, something that would make the ending cut deeper." Puh-leeese... You should stop writing film reviews, Joshua.

    Mat, Serbia
