Reader comments on Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter ... and Spring

    Dear Shelley,

After watching a movie like 'Spring, Summer...', perhaps the best way to approach buddhism is not through the gates of scholastic explanations, but rather through the beautiful poetry of the buddhist monk Ryokan, whose stanzas are very reminiscent of the mood of the movie.
The collection that I have and strongly recommend is 'Dewdrops on a Lotus Leaf'.
