Give me a horror film where the protagonist/hero/heroine is gay and I'll retract my statement. So it may not have been a statement on gay people in society, but we have seen enough of this tired, worn out formula. "Play Misty for Me" "Crusing" "The Fan" "Basic Instinct" all used this homophobic plot contrivance.
And for your comment "stop crying bigotry every other second", I have YET to read one single review of this film that points this out, so as far as I'm concerned NO ONE is crying bigotry, and thats the problem.

Wow, make a lesbian a killer and suddenly it's homophobic. PLEASE. Gay people can be killers too, and this thing was not a commentary on the entire gay society, it was a commentary on some severely repressed woman. Stop crying bigotry every other second, people.
