it's a detomaso mangusta, local italian slang for 'mongoose', the only animal capable of killing a cobra through it's speed and reflexes. it's the car james carradine drives in death race 2000. the car was built in the 1960ies to defeat the AC cobra, up till then the fastest car (from 0 to 100km/hour in 3,9 seconds).
since all the chicks ini kill bill bare snake names, it's not more than logical that the man in control of them them has to be the mongoose.
btw the car Uma drives is indeed a karmann ghia.

It was a Karmann Ghia by Volkswagen. Not a Mercedes C111, and not a Detomasto Mangusta (whatever that is). Where do you people get this stuff?
To compare, see the car Molly Ringwald drives in "Pretty in Pink". She drives a purple Karmann Ghia.
