One of the best films I've ever seen. The director captures the awkward and intense emotional state of that important age (14) I remember that age as a clear turning point in my life. The film grabbed my attention and pulled me in with the hyper-real acting and the haunting music, and I was fascinated, frightened(for modern youth)but ultimately heartened at the realization of hope. It broke my heart, made me realize that I too,at my age am still so powerfully and emotionally engaged in music, and also see that technology CAN be used as an extension of,and an iliciter of emotional expression.I have personally experienced it.This film is a masterpiece.Highly recommend to serious film buffs!
