I am an educator and I find the grammar and the thought patterns of many of the responders disgusting. I reviewed this movie and found it most thought-provoking, an opportunity to view a culture different from ours. Christian Van Gregg and Chris Johnston have done a masterful job of combining drama with documentary. With many of the responders there appears to be negative responses that appear to be nasty personal revenge for some unknown reason.

Chris Johnston (Lars) had a very arrogant role. Not once he tries to understand the opinion of others. The whole movie seems to be a "I'd like going over to Afghanistan and play some war".
The story is even not a mixup of fact and fiction, because there are no facts shown in the movie (besides some very basic statements of
Wali (the translator)).
All in all a cheap Rambo- movie with Rambo even having more brain.
Thats definitely not a top movie.
