Subject: The Sign on the street pole! Don't go to Silencio!

"Rita" wakes up in the middle of the night repeating
"Silencio". She asks "Betty" to come with her to some place.
ok-
If you notice to the right hand side of the screen
when "Betty" and "Rita" are outside at "2 in the morning"
trying to get a taxi,
there is a pole/street light that has a sign (like a "lost dog poster") that says "HELL"
that creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeped me out!
that sure makes it clear what Silencio Club is all about..and i saw that after I read alot of comments on this site about Silencio being symbolic of death/the Master of Illusion the devil/
this movie is creeped out/ and has soo many truths to it.
My favourite scenes are the "real" scenes in which we see Diane
suffering/ tormented over love gone wrong/ Something she desired so much is now out of her hands and there is nothing she can do about. Thinking about that/reflecting on that is torture. When she is masturbating, first crying and then very
aggressivly, not receiving any pleasure from it, that scene is sooo rough! sexuality is a very powerful thing. used for good
and used for bad. like fire. cooks your meals, keeps you from
freezing, something we need/ yet it out of control it can destroy quickly/ spreading in to all areas of ones life/ consuming and destrucive/burning the house down that it once kept warm in the winter. rough stuff. rough movie.
