I beg to differ--I think Lynch is wrestling with his conscience here--the satanic slavery and mind control evident is the raison-d'etre of the film.
Yes, the story makes no sense--and those in Hollyswood that think he's lost it, fine.
But the truth is here--and the lesbian action was amazing...in that it was in no way divorced from story, but part of story, and amplified story.
Anyway, I don't care--I've been through what Davi portrayed--it's not fiction.
It's all real man.

I am a film maker and writer director who knows how to tell a good story. Although I enjoy most of Lynch's work, MULHOLLAND DRIVE is a bunch of crap and no-one in Hollywood has the guts to tell this awful truth to Lynch. Mostly it was just an excuse to flash plastic tits and implied lesbian fucking in front of a sex-starved American audience. Sad, sad, sad, when one considers what intelligent entertainment could have been made with all that money...
