All these rave reviews floor me...
I just saw the movie a couple of days ago, and I have to admit I was less than impressed.
Kingsley was great, I'll admit, but the rest of the movie appeared to be constructed for this role alone. It's as though the writer developed this fantastic character (Don),full of hatred and anger, complexity and secrets, and developed the movie itself to display this one persona.
The women were totally undeveloped and heist plotline was reheated from 'Lock Stock & 2 smoking barrels'...
Hey, I saw this at a cheapie theatre, THANK GOD!
