I cannot believe the comment posted by Adeel. It is exactly this type of comment which leads to women being, oppressed and treated brutally - which is not a religious phenemona but a cultural one. Pakistanis need to admit that there are massive problems. This simple question should explain it all - which Pakistani male would feel secure if their wife/daughter/mother was to take a walk alone during darkness???? The answer is not a single one of us - what does that say about Pakistani society? By the way I am pakistani and that's why I care passionately that women such as Sabiha Sumar expose more about the hypocrisy's that are entrenched in Pakistani culture.
