    Reader comments on My Architect

Subject: I'm amazed by this remarkable story!
    Date: Nov 25, 2004
Sender: Luis B. DaSilvaPrevious | Next

Hi, my name is Luis DaSilva and I'm a student of Architecture. I currently live in Boston, MA. I'm from Brazil but I have been living here in the US for about 10 years. My father brought me here to live with him a few years after he and my mother got divorce back in 1987. I was 16 years old when I came to the Unite States in 1995, not knowing what the future was preparing for me here. During my new life here in this great country, I strougle a little be in my lates teenager ages and young adulthood find the career for me to persue. In College I try quiet of few things before I finally realize yearly this year that Architecture was what I wanted to do more than any thing. I'm 26 years old now But I have a great passion for the field and I pray to God to help me in all difficulties that it may come during my academic life and also my career life after that. The reason I'm writing thi message is because it was only yesterday that I had the opportunity to experience this great documentary made By Nathaniel Kahn about his searching for his father Louis Kahn. I'm emotional moved and expired by this marvelous story. Unfortunately, At the "Word Trade Center" in Boston, where they show the documentary, no one was there to ask questions about it and I was really desapointed because I wanted to buy a copy of the documentary, "My Architec", so badly. Please help me to get a copy of this documentary. If someone could write me back with a response I will be more than greatfull. Let me know what is the cost to have a copy of the documentary and I will send you a check or money order. Thak you!

    -Luis DaSilva!
