The fact that Mann seems to make the case for legalization almost solely by showing us the ludicrous and excessive nature of the government's war on marijuana is perhaps, for me, the most prominent flaw. However, I also feel that this was the documentary's main objective and that it was meant to be little more than a bit of fun, a great "freak-out" while stoned, and a means of letting off some governmentally-incited steam.
