No doubt about it, Bob Dylan is a reasonably talented singer songwriter...maybe even a true original! However, an actor, conversationalist, clear communicator, and yes, even performer, he IS NOT! I absolutely fail to see the authenticity of the myth that has grown around him (and others of his ilk). Do I write this because I am 'jealous'? In part, of course, yes. But that aside, what is it...who is it...we are talking about here? He is simply someone whom timing has been kind to mainly from the standpoint of far too many people affording him the security of their insecurity (i.e., peoples need to have larger than life humans to 'look up to'). Its all crap when you really plumb the core of the person and the creator of the person. Just my opinion...I guess.
