That means your an idiot for leaving the film before it ended. Predisposed judgement even b4 u finished the film itself. Didn't asian studies teach you n e thing?

I left the theater
I have a degree in asian studies, went to Japan as a Fulbrighter, and have been involved in martial arts for about 25 years. So, I really wanted to go see this film. I was brought up on martial arts flicks. I love them.
While I agree that the cinamatography was really good, I have to agree with this critic's review. Without a doubt this was a film that the powers that be in Beijing wanted to help them support the idea that murder and tyrrany is warranted for the best of the country. I had read many times that Mao and his successors idealized the Qin Shi Huang Di, but I hadn't seen it as blatantly as in this film.
I left the theater in before it ended.
