    Hi Og! Hi Katherine!

I've known Katherine for years, and she has
all of the characteristics that can form
a great artist -- and they do, and she is.

A quirky personality bordering on insanity, a
crazy home life, and a domineering older sister.

    Power to the people!

    -A.

    Re: comments

After visiting serious (and in my opinion boring) shows in chelsea by artists such as elizabeth peyton, who seems to depict everyone in static shots and non-dramatic color schemes, go and see katherine bernhardt's exciting and energetic works at Team as well as at the Gershwin Hotel. THese pieces instead will pick you up because they are full of color, fun, energy, humor, and will make you question what is really going on out there. There are many more positive things to say about KB's shows, but this is all i have to say for now.
