    Reader comments on Control Room

    Subject: An Important movie
    Date: Aug 4, 2004
    Sender: Kathy PrescottPrevious | Next

I was reading a BBC article on line where they complained they didn't hear the Iraqi Government comlaining during the movie.I have to believe that the writer of this article must have gone to the washroom for a few moments.Anyone who saw the movie from beginning to end would have seen that complaint. And, it was in the middle of an armed attack against their country do you think they had the time?
Also recently in the news the new American picked governement was threatening to close down the station for showing both sides of the battle.
Wake up people, war is "UNPLEASANT".It's not a game on the computer or just on TV.People get KILLED.Children, babies,is this the new censorship
of the west, only tell the part of the story that works for you?
This was an eye opening importatant film.I feel closer to the people of Iraq. These are smart normal everyday people whose culture is different from mine,so what!
I will be forever greatful to have been privilaged to see this work this truth.
    Thank you.
