I do not know who this JOSHUA TANZER is or how he manages to handle this level of disinformation, but never have I read a so disgustingly empty-headed piece of politically-correct propaganda concerning the events in the '90's in Kosovo and Bosnia.
Mr. Tanzer is unwilling or perhaps incapable to see the truth about what really happened there, and continues to happen. As a Dutchman, connected to the events through the presence of Dutchbat in the so-called 'safe-haven' (a deadly concept) of Srebrenica I am fully aware (through personal statements of Dutchbat-soldiers during debriefing als well as the testimonies given at ICTY by Morillon, Owen, and many others) of the real reason for Mladic to enter Srebrenica: The severe raids on Serb villages around the enclave by the islamofascist commander of the 28th Infantry Brigade of the Bosnian Muslim Army: Nasr Oric ...
It was testified and confirmed that on many nights Nasr Oric and his troups went out into the hills (Dutchbat being unable to stop this, as their hands were bound by the ridiculous limitations of their mandate, and much too lightly armed as they were) to raid these villages, setting houses on fire, burning churches, robbing the civilians, raping women, murdering people, sometimes burning them alive or beheading them. These are no fictional stories, these events are all well-documentated, but there seems to be a reason for mr. Tanzer to strictly ignore these kind of facts: Keeping in mind the general tone of his 'review' I can only fear the worst concerning his motivation ...
Observing the work of the Tribunal in The Hague which more and more shows it's true nature in the dedication with which it performs an unbelievable and perverse cover-up of the genuine truth I can, as a Dutchman, only say that I am embarassed and ashamed that this puppet-theatre is allowed to take place on Dutch grounds ...

I canât help but detect a strain of racist, hate-filled Croat vitriol emanating from ultra nationalist, uneducated Croats. I believe current information proves all your numbers absurd exaggerations, not to mention your "facts." Thankfully, not all Croats agree with the likes of you.
Let me set the record straight for you and the uninformed, but well-meaning American public. We had no business bombing the Serbs. We were all soundly fooled. We bombed the wrong people, because the good guys were, all along, the Serbian people. That is not to say Serbs committed no atrocities, not at all. All side, as in any civil war, committed atrocities and war crimes, but by media indolence, the onus of all such crimes fell only on the Serbs.
What is absolutely essential is that we examine why the Serbs fought tenaciously in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. Charles Krauthammer, aware that Croat ãUstasheä slaughtered over 700,000 Serbs during WW II, wrote that Serbs ã·did not want to live under a people that had massacred their parents·The Serbs of Krajina had every reason to fear falling under Croatian sovereignty again.ä To wit, prior to breaking with Belgrade, Croats rehabilitated Ustashe ãheroes,ä reintroduced the Ustashe flag, uniforms and currency, then in 1992, stripped the Serb minority of citizenship and pensions. Were any of you aware of this?
What also has to be noted is that Serbia proper is only about 60% Serb. There are many Croats living there still, and at no time in the last 10 years did they suffer nearly (if any) the indignities and atrocities suffered by Serbs in Croatia, all of whom were ethnically cleansed by the Croats (with NATO/US help) in 1995. There are over a million Serb refugees in Serbia proper because of the "sanctioned" ethnic cleansing the "good" Croats and "good" Muslims in Bosnia and Kosovo engaged in. If you think that the Serbs ãdeserved itä then you have swallowed the Clinton and media disinformation, hook, line and sinker, and I pity you.
The proof our collective stupidity is in the final results of our misbegotten Balkan adventures. We closed out the ãAmerican Centuryä on a truly abysmal note, having aided and abetted anti-Semitic and anti-American Islamists in Bosnia and Kosovo, who have strong ties to al-Qaeda and are intent on a Greater Albania (that's considered good), as well as anti-Semitic, neo-Nazi Croats who at long last have realized the independence first granted them by their patron Adolf Hitler.
Think about what I've said.
