Say what you want about the reviewer and his vocabulary. But know this for sure, "Fuck You" is breaking no new ground, it is not experimental, it is not provocative unless you mean that it provoked boredom, earache, and a feeling of frustration. I saw this play and though I can applaud the "Fuck You" folks for their stamina in regards to yelling, and for honestly trying to do something they were not sure people would like, I have to say that the play was stupid. Stupid and narrow-minded. It had nothing to keep ones attention, not even one moment of complex human emotion, and certainly didn't disturb in any constructive way.
I know that these comment postings are a public forum, but I can't but be sad that all that's been posted are a couple of rants from girls that are most likely friends with someone in the show from the get go and who have little or no experience theater, be it fun or abstract.
To say that the reviewer doesn't understand the characters because he has a job at a website is as ignorant as it is insulting. Still this was the only thing involving this play I've found at all interesting.

Gentle Suggestion for Lisa and Christina.

Maybe the two of you should open your own review website that explains in detail why this show is great theater. I saw this show, and it is pure and miserable shit...so an entire webste explaining how i must be misunderstanding it would be terribly helpful to everyone. It might also help keep the cast and writers out of the theater, which would be best for the world in general. Hey, just my opinion...it's even worse now, after this last Tuesday. I can't believe I paid money for that. I should have been paid for the utter waste of my time.
