Subject: Re: who shot himself at the beginning scene?
Date: Oct 15, 2003
Hi.
The brother who shot himself at the beginning of Frailty was Fenton. But he didn't really shoot himself. Matthew Mconahey (I know i've spelt his name wrong) was not really Fenton, he was Adam. When it showed the shooting scene you were supposed to think it was Adam who shot himself but as the twist shows it was really Fenton. But Adam was lying, he, himself, killed Fenton.
Confusing I know, watch the film a couple more times and it should all make sense to you.
Take care.

who shot himself at the beginning scene?
i get the feeling i have to see it again.
at the end, i thought he really was killing , and then my wife asked which brother had shot himself in the beginning scene. now i wonder if i am so stupid as to totally misunderstand the entire movie;
i mean, maybe he was completely dillusional (as might be expected) and i was too dumb to understand the movie without someone sitting down and explaining it to me???
