I'm not exactly sure what I thought about the movie, "In the Bedroom". I'm kind of confused about the last scene. When Wilkinson was lying in bed with Sissy Spacek, what the heck did he mean when he was talking about Marisa Tomei? ("I saw a picture of Natalie and Richard together, there was something about her smile". It was a very odd ending to me. However, I haven't read the book. Would that have helped me understand? If anyone would like to fill me in, please do so. I'm really confused.

In the bedroom was one of the best movies of 2001, way better than a beautiful mind. Beth doesn't appreciate good cinema, I bet what she was trying to do was go see a nice romantic comedy, starring sean penn, and being ignorant, assumed a film titled in the bedroom was a romantic comedy. Too bad for her she didn't get to see a formula film, but was overwhelmed by the power wilkinson and Penn...err Stahl displayed in this unforgettable masterpiece.
