Re: Wanda Jean
So,
I just saw the last few minutes of this program, and came here to find out more. I really have no idea of her mental state, or her relationship with the father, and nor do any of you. If you think HBO is an unbiased reporting agency, you are sadly mistaken. I do not have a problem with capital punishment. I hope that with modern technology, that in my opinion, it must be scientifically proven (DNA) beyond ANY doubt, that the person was guilty before a capital sentence is handed down. If you take a life, why should you be granted the VERY thing you stole from another living human being? I am a beliver, and she may have made her peace with GOD, if so then her soul is where it belongs. If not, it is STILL where it belongs. You can bet the person she murdered had NOT A SINGLE CHANCE to say goodbye to their loved ones, as she did, and her FLIP attitude did not help her case in my opinion. IF and I stress if because it makes a DANDY defense when there is not one, for the court room, she was retarded, as stated, then I'm sorry for her, but it makes no difference. She was guilty of taking anothers life. She just got, what she gave in this world. If her retardation was of such a kind as to make her a killer, then the world is better off without her in the gene pool. That is cold, but it is fact.
YOU KILL, YOU DIE! simple, even for the people of the lowest IQ. You give what you take, a very simple concept. I feel for her family, but, I feel for the family of the people that she murdered even more, at least her family had a chance to say goodbye.
