Reader comments on Better Luck Tomorrow

    Subject: Disappointing

Better Luck Tomorrow is perhaps the most hyped Asian-American film ever made. There is an army of promoters on the internet 24 hours a day writing up good reviews for "themselves". Although I support Asian-American films, I was really disappointed, by the acting, story-telling, and lack of creativity in the movie. Had this film used "white boys", instead of Asians, the film would not even raise an eyebrow. Perhaps my expectations were too high, due to all the hype, but the truth is still the truth, and no matter how much hype it receives, if it's bad, it's bad.

It's a good movie generally, not great but good. exciting and interesting to watch; great directing and acting even though I don't like the story itself. To be honest, I don't think the story is different from any other growing up stories in America.

This is the type of movie that u can't learn from , but at least u can see the shadow of yourself.
