    Subject: Somewhat of an explanation
    Date: Apr 8, 2001
    Sender: CrystalPrevious | Next

I believe this to be a very good, yet, subtle movie. It is told from the boys viewpoint so they only had as much information as they were able to get, which is seemingly as much as the girls had. The girls lived in this mini-universe (their house) with parents that didn't know how to interact with them. The mother was domineering which was undoubtedly how her own mother was to her. Their father was a little on the crazy side and meek. In essence, they didn't know how to nurture their kids. The girls were kept prisoners
