wonderful debut from gleize has only one weak spot which is chiara mastroanni. one can not help to feel sorry for the girl who has not got the talents of the dad or the beauty of the mum. however gleize uses her so well, the ones who does not care about her real life dad and mum feels sorry for the italian wanna-be character she portrays. angela molina is one of the best performers of the film, only her eyes are enough to show the interior. 5 year old raphaelle molinier is the best ever new comer to the filmworld. her cool attitude towards death, bullfight, blood and gore , and all the events around her is liking leading the audience to how they must feel...gleize is not bunuel or a french altman, only something better at the age of 29, cooler and original.

Previous: Impressive debut | Next: excellent entertwined-storyline melo.
