I watched The Execution Of Wanda Jean
I too like so many others felt overwhelmingly sad and labored after watching this gripping documentary. I'm glad the foucs was not on her sexual orientation, but rather on how barbaric states are that have the death penalty. In a society where we have every electronic gadget and space age technology, we still hang, electrocute and inject humans to their death and we don't think there's anything wrong with this??? I am against the death penalty (it's obvious). I have asked myself, If my own mother, or any other loved one were killed even heinously would I change my feelings about the death penalty? NO! I am not above any other human being. We are all created equal even though we may not be treated as such. Humans do not have the right to take the life of another human being. GOD gives life and it should be GOD that takes life away...not man.
