This film had me under a spell from the moment it started. My senses were alive--I could feel the heat of summer, the angst of early teenhood. I think back to when I was a 13 year old girl having to be the responsible one in my family, how I felt about my parents, and feelings of sexuality stirring within. I felt so much like I was reliving my dark past. I sat through the film knowing there was going to be an ending that I would never forget. And I won't.

    you don`t know...

THIS movie is everthing else than boring: maybe you«re just bored from yourself and don`t know how to discover deeper phaeres inside you.

Every scene, every picture in "Rain" from Christine Jeffs catches you, it`s a silent movie that squeezes your heart. Non of this american-teen-movie-shit which doesn`t even scratch on the surface.
It isn`t just a entertainer for a lonely, boring evening, on which you don`t thing of afterwards anymore.
You want to dive into this athmospaehre created by this movie, this glimpsy pictures.
Also it has a wonderful, discover-worth soundtrack which fits this movie perfectly: soft, alternativ, intelligent (Mary Bangin won`t understand it...) songs, which give a damm about awful, empty teen-movie-soundtracks!
