    Subject: what's the big deal?

Timecode has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Just because it was considered a breakthrough in film tehnique, I don't think it should have been made into a movie. Maybe if Mike Figgis had developed his narrative more fully would Timecode be a movie to talk about for the rest of time. The cast was medicore and his propensity to encourage improvisation did not make the film any better. The 93 minutes could have been cut to 30 seconds of Mike Figgis filming himself with a digital camera and say, "Look, I'm filming with a digital camera! Woohoo! What a great concept!" BFD Mr. Figgis!
