There were some good issues brought up in the movie. Although the movie started out slow, it hits on some inportant points. 1. You should love the skin you're in, whether you are thin or curvy. (Just be sure you are healthy). 2. A future. Whether that is going to college to further your education and carreer opportunity. 3. Be responsible. Ana took control of her life, by loving herself, talking to her father about going to college, and keeping herself protected when having her romantic moment with her boyfriend. The only thing I have concern with is her paper she wrote for college. What did she write about? Was it the fact that she finally accepted who she was even though her mother seemed to be against her? I think that if that was in the movie, it would have given it that extra little something.
Thank you.
