I read The Monument in grade 10, it was owned by my drama teacher, i enjoyed this play so very much i could not put it down. Although it is very short and easy to read the language was grafic, to a point were i was physicaly sick. I am now looking for this play in book stores n hope to own a copy myself soon. The images this play gave me stick with me to this day. as a piece performed, i would never go see it, because the mind is a powerful thing. I would not want the actors to change my thoughts of this play. Wish me luck on finding it.
