I am proud to have worked to elect George McGovern in 1972. His quote "I'm sick and tired of those old men dreaming up wars for young men to die in," is extraordinarily apropos to to-day! When we are doomed to repeat our mistakes it is precisely because of the extraordinary ignorance of the likes of Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Cheny and the Bush's. If these men are the "best and brightest" America can offer up G-D help us! Until the American electorate wakes up to the fact that "politics is second only to our heartbeat" and gets off it's over sized rump, apathetic apathy and continues to seek out he likes of President OBama and better it is a pathetic and sad history that lies ahead for the world.
