    Reader comments on Blasted

Subject: review of Sarah Kane's "Blasted"
    Date: May 6, 2009

Thank you. I was assigned this play to read recently in grad school, and you best articulate my response. Is there a line over which playqrights cnnot go? Hippocratic oath for authors? I was "squirming in my seat" as I read it. And I have a strong stomach. Also like points the author of this review made about her suicide and how it can't, but does, affect our view of her work.

    Thank you, Mr. Thompson
