Thanks for that. I should have looked it up, but
it was late and I was lazy. " Red ", alone, is
reason enough to rank Kieslowski among the best
film directors of all time. Imagine: films that
actually tell us something! And I am totally in
amazement at Mr. Lynch's accomplishment in making
Mulholland Drive. Mr. Lynch is, indeed, an Artist.

" Red ", and " Blue " ( and " White " ) are
components of a film trilogy by a Polish film
Director ( recently died ) who's name escapes
me at the moment. They deal, in part, with
reality " synchronicity ". The color useage,
here, might be referencial. Or not.
Editor's note: That director is the amazing Krzysztof Kieslowski, who also did "The Double Life of Veronique" and "The Decalogue."
