Reader comments on Particles of Truth

    Subject: Artistry and Ego
    Date: Nov 6, 2008

This film beautifully portrays the struggle of two artists who utilize their art forms to reclaim, revise, and resolve their experiences. Lilli's art and Morrisey's poetry are both inspired by their intense feelings and paradoxical apathy or aloofness. Neither contrives in order to create. Like far too many talented artisted, both characters are steeped in insecurity, fear of failure, and self-effacing criticism.
The subtle complexity of the dysfunctional families and their behavior is treated fairly and honestly. Great movie.
